Re Homestuck p.7897+

So I went to look up Yaldabaoth on Wikipedia (I know the denizen had been mentioned before, but I wanted to see its mythology) - and get this following passage:

“Under the name of Nebro (rebel), Yaldabaoth is called an angel in the apocryphal Gospel of Judas. He is first mentioned in “The Cosmos, Chaos, and the Underworld” as one of the twelve angels (the trolls?) to come “into being [to] rule over chaos and the [underworld]”. He comes from heaven, his “face flashed with fire and whose appearance was defiled with blood”. Nebro creates six angels (the six trolls who died? Vriska, Tavros, Eridan, Equius, Nepeta, and Feferi?) in addition to the angel Saklas (Saklas means “fool” in Aramaic.. Gamzee?) to be his assistants. These six in turn create another twelve angels (the troll ancestors?) “with each one receiving a portion in the heavens.”

Could all just be coincidence or just Hussie working backwards from mythology.

I have difficulty marrying this image I have in my head of this beautiful elegant porcelain doll Karkat-in-a-dress and the chubby-cheeked, red-faced off-with-his-head red queen that is truer to his character.

Taz said she wanted to know more about this but honestly there isn’t anything to it, it’s just an excuse to draw stupid pretty Karkat in a dress. Mostly because I can’t imagine any way in which it doesn’t end horribly depressingly horribly depressing.

Like when I let my mind wander I see Sir Harley being mortally wounded in battle, and Queen Karkat flies off the handle, mounts a majestic white war hoofbeast and goes all Boudica warrior-queen on everybody’s asses.

Which, minus the warrior-queen part, is really lame! Sorry! I’m not very good at this sort of thing.

Adding warrior-Queen Karkat to the list of things I’ll be drawing this weekend though.

karkat had something prepared but after dave finishes all you can make out from in between the sobs is lots of swear words and how ‘you’re the jack to my rose’

This is the only genderbend I’ve ever seen that looks super accurate, woah. Like, Sherlock wouldn’t be a beautiful, curly haired temptress that I’ve seen her drawn/cast as.
